We can’t settle for second best. The future of the Democratic Party starts here.

As this year comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on what we’ve built together—and what this moment demands from Democrats.

Over the last year, this campaign has shown what people-powered leadership actually looks like. Together, we’ve knocked 50,000 doors and counting across every corner of the district. We’ve hosted more than 220 salons and listening sessions, bringing neighbors together in living rooms, community spaces, dive bars, and small businesses to talk honestly about the challenges we face and the future we deserve.

That’s organizing. It’s showing up. It’s listening. It’s doing the work.

While too much of politics still happens from a distance, this campaign has been rooted in community—you will absolutely see me biking down Halsted or Lincoln, meeting our neighbors where they are, and building power the old-fashioned way: one conversation at a time. Not conducting a poll first. Not asking for permission. Just showing up and fighting harder for our community, all day long, every day.

I’m running because I believe our district—and the Democratic Party—needs new leadership. A leader that challenges the status quo instead of protecting it. One that’s willing to take on powerful interests, whether that’s fighting insurance companies over access to care, standing with our neighbors when they’re being kidnapped and tear-gassed by ICE, or demanding bold, transformative action in the middle of a housing crisis.

We can’t settle for second best.

With less than 80 days until Election Day, this is a defining moment. It’s a choice between the old guard and a new guard rooted in people-powered organizing. Between absence and accountability. Between politics as usual and a new leader willing to throw a punch.

To win, we need to double down on what’s gotten us this far: our grassroots operation. Your contribution fuels door knocking, volunteer training, materials, and the organizing infrastructure it takes to reach every voter and turn the likes we get on Instagram into actual votes.
