Underdogs fight harder. That’s how we’ll win.

A new poll just dropped, and it shows what we already knew: 50% of voters in this district are undecided.

That means half the district is still waiting for someone to fight for them. After 30 years in Springfield—and never once facing a real challenger—the status quo still hasn’t earned their trust. I’m ready to change that.

I’ve always had to work twice as hard to get where I am, and I’m not stopping now. While the establishment will continue intimidating me and our supporters like you, I’m not backing down—because our community is worth fighting for.

On Friday, I stood alongside organizers and hospital staff at Weiss Hospital, fighting for our neighbors after the ER abruptly closed its doors. Our opponent? Once again absent. It’s the same story when it comes to fixing the transit system, making housing affordable, and delivering on the basics that actually can make life better here.

This weekend showed just how ready people are for something different:

  • We teamed up with Chicago Growth Project for a weekend of action, knocking on doors and talking to our neighbors about building more housing and our plans for a better future.

  • At Market Days, voter after voter told me they can’t wait to choose a new kind of politics in the Democratic Primary on March 17.

  • And even on my evening runs, I’ve literally run into neighbors cheering us on for fighting for better transit, safe streets, and a more connected system.

But here’s the truth: turning that 50% undecided won’t happen by itself. We need the resources to knock on every door, make every call, and keep the pressure on.

I’m running this race to disrupt the status quo—with a new kind of politics that listens to you, fights hard, and focuses on the future. We’re not focused on poll-tested messaging or running the same buzzwords past the same ten consultants before saying anything.

So whether you see me or our volunteers knocking on your door or at a farmers market this week, stop and say hi! Sign our petition to get on the ballot, and let’s build a better future together.
