The Stories That Stay With Me

After 100 salons, I’ve heard a lot of stories. Some full of joy. Others hard to hear.

Like my friend Nancy, who’s battling cancer and her insurance company. Even with coverage, she’s paying $20,000 out-of-pocket for treatment.

Or my friends who just got married. They’re trying to build a life together in Lakeview. But for every two-bedroom apartment they tour, they get outbid by 10 other people.

These aren’t just anecdotes. They’re warnings. The status quo is failing people every single day.

We just released a video that captures what this campaign is really about: showing up, listening deeply, and building power together

In a moment when so many politicians are disconnected and only show up when it’s time to win your vote, I’m proud to say: I’ve been listening. Day after day. Conversation after conversation.

And I’m running for State Senate because you deserve a leader who doesn’t just hear your concerns—you deserve someone who is going to fight alongside you to solve them.

Now, I can scream this from every rooftop on the Northside, but I need your help to spread the word.
