Springfield failed us. We need better fighters.

The legislative session just ended, and here’s the hard truth: not a single meaningful bill on transit reform, housing, or pension fixes passed.

The worst part? The person who’s supposed to represent our community was nowhere to be found in this fight. Not sticking her neck out when it counted. Not standing up for the people who live, work, and struggle to get by right here.

Our district isn’t a place for people who wait around to be a rubber stamp or play it safe. We need fighters—people who reflect the strength and ambition of this rich, vibrant community we call home.

While lawmakers gave themselves a raise and funneled cash to NASCAR, our needs went ignored. No transit funding means service cuts that will impact all our commutes. No housing reform means it’s still going to take years to build anything new, and you could still get priced out of the neighborhood you love. No pension fixes mean everyday people will be left behind.

I’m not that kind of politician who sits on the sidelines. I’ve spent years organizing across the state taking on the biggest fights. I’m ready to bring that same fire to Springfield—and I won’t stop until our community gets the leadership it deserves.

We need to send a clear message: no more settling for second best. We demand leaders who show up, work hard, and deliver results.

Thank you for jumping in this fight with me. It’s time to elect a new kind of Democrat in the primary next year—one with the courage to fight.
