Over 200 donors. $0 in corporate cash.

We just wrapped up a big milestone in this campaign—our quarterly fundraising report—and I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.

Thanks to over 200 grassroots supporters like you, we raised more than $34,000, all without a dime from corporate PACs. That’s what people-powered politics looks like—and how we build a campaign that’s accountable to neighbors, not special interests.

Our average donation was $138—a powerful reminder that we don’t need mega-donors to build something meaningful. We just need each other.

We’re up against an entrenched incumbent who takes most of her money from corporations and special interests. That’s the old way of doing politics. But if we’re going to push the Democratic Party to be bolder, braver, and actually work for the people, we have to break the grip of big money in politics.

This campaign is about building something different—and it’s already happening.

Last week, we held Nick at Nite, an unforgettable evening full of laughs, connection, and even a little hula hooping. Big thanks to the incredible Khloe Couleé for hosting, and to everyone who came ready with hard questions about paid leave, housing, and more—even as I had that hula hoop spinning!

We’re proving that politics can be joyful, vibrant, and rooted in community. People want to be heard. They want to be seen. And more than anything, they want to belong.

So let’s keep building this movement—one conversation, one block, one backyard party at a time. And if you’re able, consider making a $138 donation today to match the average gift that’s helped get us this far.

We’re doing politics differently. By listening. By centering people. By showing up with open hearts and open minds.

Welcome to the party. I’m so glad you’re here.
