We deserve better. I'm running for State Senate.
I’m officially launching my campaign for Illinois State Senate in the 6th District — and I’m asking you to join me from Day One.
For too long, we’ve had the same politics, the same players, and the same status quo in Springfield. Our current State Senator has been in office for over 30 years and is not the fighter we need for the future. And too often, she’s chosen to divide us with rhetoric that has no place in our party or our communities.
I believe we deserve better.
I’ve spent my career organizing and fighting for progressive values — from protecting reproductive rights with NARAL, to helping elect pro-choice, pro-LGBTQ+ champions like Congresswoman Marie Newman, to shaping policy here in Chicago that serves regular folks like you and me, not special interests.
In the past year alone, I’ve hosted over 80 community listening sessions — salons across our district — conversations about housing, transit, equity, and so much more. What I heard was clear: people are ready to fight for a better future. They’re ready for change. They’re ready for a leader who listens — and leads.
I’m running for State Senate because it’s time for a new generation of leadership — one rooted in community, compassion, and courage. Together, we can build a future that works for everyone, no matter where you live, who you love, or where you come from.
But I can’t do this without you.
Let’s fight to build more housing. Let’s invest in modern, accessible transit. Let’s stand up for justice, equity, and each other. Let’s bring some real energy to Springfield.
Thank you for believing in what’s possible. Let’s go win this — together.
