The Machine is spending big. With four days left, help us Get Out The Vote.
Election Day is Tuesday, March 17, and we have just four days left to Get Out The Vote.
In the final days of this race, the political machine is pouring money into protecting an entrenched incumbent. They’re doing everything they can to stop Nick because he’s running a campaign that actually aligns with the people in this district.
Nick is talking about the issues that matter: building more housing so people can afford to live here, improving public transit, lowering health care costs, addressing the child care crisis, getting corporate money out of politics, and fighting back hard when ICE terrorizes our communities.
After working overnight and going to class during the day, he would still show up. He knocked doors, helped bring people together, and worked like the dickens every single day because he believed we could defeat an entrenched incumbent who was completely out of step with the Democratic Party.
And our opponent? She’s been in government for more than 30 years and continues to take checks from the largest corporations that want to keep things exactly the way they are—including energy companies that jack up your bills like Ameren, People’s Gas, and ComEd. Big Pharma and health care companies like Walgreens, CVS, Pfizer, and DaVita. Meanwhile, costs keep rising across the board on everything and some families are paying nearly $4,000 a month for child care.
In a state with a Democratic supermajority, the problem isn’t that we need more Democrats. It’s that we need better ones.
Nick is running a 100% grassroots campaign that rejects corporate PAC money. And we’ve built something incredible together:
More than 75,000 doors knocked
250 salons, community evens, and small gatherings across the 6th District
A growing coalition of supporters including Better Streets Chicago Action Fund, Indivisible Lincoln Square, Sunrise Movement Chicago, the Girl I Guess Voter Guide, and the Chicago Tribune
But campaigns aren’t decided by Instagram likes, by mailers, or by Super PAC ads. They’re decided by who shows up and talks to voters.
That’s why these final days matter so much. Whether you have 30 minutes, an hour, or a full afternoon, it will make a real difference. We need volunteers to:
Knock on doors and talk to neighbors
Make calls on our dialer
Pass out palm cards at polling places
Help turn out voters across the district
This race is historic. It’s the first real contested Democratic primary here in more than 50 years. Our opponent has refused to debate Nick and has avoided public forums where voters could hear from both candidates. Instead, outside groups are flooding the race with money to protect the status quo.
But we believe in a different kind of Democratic Party—one that shows up, organizes year-round, and fights for the people.
Nick has been there the entire time: knocking doors, attending community meetings, organizing with neighbors, and fighting for the future we deserve. Everything we’ve built in this campaign is exactly how he’ll serve as your next state senator.
Now we need your help to finish the job.
Join us in these final four days and help bring this grassroots campaign across the finish line on Tuesday.
