The establishment is starting to sweat

Since launching this campaign, the message from the political establishment has been loud and clear:

“Wait your turn.”
“You’re being naive.”
“I love your passion, but don’t do this.”

Some of the biggest power players in Springfield have gone out of their way to try to shut us down before we even got started. We’ve heard the veiled threats: The calls pressuring folks to stay away, to play it safe, to protect the incumbent who's never faced a challenger in thirty years.

But here’s the thing: I’m not here to wait politely in line for permission to fight for our community. I’m here because I’ve spent years organizing alongside all of you - people who are sick of being told to sit down and be patient while our leaders wring their hands and our problems get worse.

You don’t beat bullies by backing down. You beat them by looking them straight in the face and saying: Game on.

This campaign is building momentum day after day. We’re seeing the energy, the grassroots support, and the hunger for a Democratic Party that actually stands for something—and fights like hell for it. Building more housing, LGBTQ+ rights, climate action, equity and justice: we don’t need half-measures, we need new energetic leadership.

And that’s exactly what we’re building—together. Let’s keep showing them what happens when Democrats demand better.
